OPTION A: Concept Map (They may use Large white paper) o Using ALL of the vocab terms from p. 387-403, create a VISUAL concept map that connects these terms to each other. So instead of using phrases to describe, you use pictures, drawings, symbols, etc. o You must include Gregor Mendel and his contribution to heredity somewhere in the Concept Map o Remember to label the term that the picture represents OPTION B: Create a Comic Strip (Large white paper) · Using all of the terms from p. 387-403, create a series of comic strips in which the characters are using the vocabulary terms correctly. The drawings should be clear enough to explain what the terms mean as well · You must include Gregor Mendel and his contribution to heredity somewhere in the comic OPTION C: Mendel’s Music · Create a song, poem, rap about Gregor Mendel and his contribution to heredity as a theme in the lyrics · You MUST include and use correctly ALL of the vocabulary terms from p. 387-403. - Opening Activity: On your KWL chart from Monday, write down what you have LEARNED (L) so far about the nervous system. If you have a new question of what you WANT (W) to know about the nervous system, write that down too!
- What is the Best Text:
- * You will be evaluating 6 different texts... Two for the Nervous System, Two for the Excretory System and Two for the Endocrine System.
- Start out at ONE station.
- Choose 2 out of the 3 Texts QR Codes for that system. (Each system has its own station, worksheets, and technology)
- Complete the comparison sheet first. Then, fill out the Evaluation Sheet for the texts used for that body system.
- Then move on to another station.
