Changing It Up in Experiments
Last week we talked about how problem-solving is a major part of doing science. We made models using common household items to solve real life situations. Now we are going to add to our foundation of how we do science. This is a short week, but we are going to start focusing on independent and dependent variables. Scientists would not know so much if they were not curious and did not think "I wonder what would happen if I changed this part". These are the types of questions that fuel scientific knowledge, inventions and discoveries. This week, you will be finalizing your topics for science fair. You will also be in a STEM competition with your classmates… So stay tuned to see who wins!
