Brick by Brick
How is a building constructed? Brick, concrete blocks, and mortar are all used to create notable buildings where we live, shop, go to school, and the like. But, do you ever think about the basic materials that form these structures? Probably not. They seem so small in comparison to the final product. However each block is so critical and important to the function of the whole. Considering what we have discussed so far about cells, the cell theory, and organisms, what comparisons can be made between bricks of a building and cells of a organisms?
