Today we are presenting our STEM Robotic Arms in class. Can yours pick up a plastic cup??? We'll see...! We are also getting down to the main functions, structures and interactions among the skeletal, muscular and integumentary systems. As you use the arm to pick up the cup, what structures were pretty important? Why? Everything is connected to each other and help maintain homeostasis within the body. Today we're going to get in to this a lot and help solidify what we need to know based upon the scale. AGENDA TODAY: 1. Opening Activity: You will have TEN minutes to complete your STEM Lab Write-up and fix any adjustments on your robotic arm 2. STEM Arm Presentations 3. Body Systems 1 Jigsaw: p. 162-179 |
